about kevin

After over 30 years of creating exhibits for close to two dozen museums and cultural institutions, it’s still exciting to be part of telling an amazing story.

The essence of great exhibit design is emotional resonance. I am passionate about designing exhibits that spark imagination and immerse visitors in history, cultures, and new perspectives. My work includes exhibitions ranging from the history of glass, Native American culture and history, and space exploration to a jazz icon and American diplomacy. I’ve been involved with all phases of exhibition design – from conceptual planning to installation – with projects ranging in budget from $70K to $25M.

As a licensed architect, I bring to the conversation knowledge and the language of construction and building infrastructure. The marriage of environment and narrative fuels my work, as does deep collaboration, trust, and mutual care for the project with the client team.

  • "Kevin guided our team through the design process, helping us understand what we needed to know and consider when making decisions. The creativity, care, and effectiveness of the award-winning exhibits is on display for our 1.6 million annual visitors. Kevin is naturally collaborative; he asks questions, listens to the answers, and then asks more questions. We were incredibly lucky to have him. His presence is a big part of why our project was so successful."
